St Agnes Church Floor Appeal 2019 – UPDATE JAN 2021 – Extensive repair work to the church floor and work to install new electrics in the main body of the church have now been completed. The Churchwardens and PCC would like to thank all those who offered financial support and those who offered their time and effort. We can now look forward to further ‘reimagining St Agnes’ for the community by planning for the installation of toilet facilities and a small kitchen area.
ST AGNES CHURCH FLOOR APPEAL 2019 – PHASE ONE – Funded by public subscription, St Agnes Church was built in 1908 and was dedicated, by the Bishop of Winchester, on 12th August 1908.
The floor has lasted very well! It has been patched in various places in the past few years but it really does, now, need replacing. In addition to replacing the floor, the time has also come to replace the heating system and bring the electrics up to date so that the lovely St Agnes Church becomes multifunctional whilst retaining its principle function as a place of worship.
